Arthroscopy is a technique that allows surgeons to diagnose, visualize, and treat a variety of joint problems. Arthroscopic Surgery can treat common problems such as rotator cuff tears, meniscal tears, ligament tears, damaged and loose cartilage, and many other conditions. Arthroscopy is performed using an arthroscope, a small optic instrument that enables a close look at the inside of a joint through a small skin incision, allowing the patient to make a quick recovery.
