Markian D. Stecyk, M.D.
Dr. Markian Stecyk is a graduate of Boston University and Tufts University School of Medicine. After serving seven years in the Air Force Medical Corps he completed Orthopaedic training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Dr Stecyk joined Orthopaedic Associates in 1990 with a special interest in joint replacement surgery and sports medicine.
He is a clinical instructor for the University of Massachusetts. Dr Stecyk has served as the Chief of Surgery at Marlborough Hospital since 1995. He is a member of the hospital's Board of Trustees.
Donald H. Hangen, M.D.
Dr. Don Hangen is a graduate of Williams College and the Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his training in orthopaedics at the Harvard Orthopaedic Residency Program.
After completing a Fellowship in Sports Medicine, he was on the staff at the Massachusetts General Hospital and an instructor at Harvard Medical School prior to joining Orthopaedic Associates of Marlborough in 1995. Dr. Hangen has served as President of the Massachusetts Orthopaedic Association and holds a faculty appointment at the University of Massachusetts.
Paul J.P. Pongor, M.D.
Dr. Paul Pongor is a graduate of Michigan State University and the University Of Michigan School Of Medicine. He has advanced studies in Biostatistics from the Yale University School of Public Health. He has also studied abroad in Europe and New Zealand.
After finishing his orthopaedic training at the Harvard University Combined Residency program he completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Medicine in Boston. He joined Orthopaedic Associates of Marlborough in 2000.
Steven H. Sewall, M.D.
Dr. Steven Sewall is a graduate of Brown University and obtained his medical degree from Cornell Medical College in 1965. He then completed the orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
During the Vietnam War, Dr. Sewall served in the U.S. Navy from 1970-1972 attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He has been with Orthopaedic Associates of Marlborough since 1972.
Stephen Klinge, M.D.
Dr. Stephen Klinge is a graduate of Georgetown University and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He received his general orthopedic training at Brown University, where he also received advanced orthopedic trauma fellowship training. He earned a second fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Connecticut, where he trained with some of the nation's preeminent shoulder and knee surgery experts.
Dr. Klinge is an expert in both adult and adolescent minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, and hip. He has comprehensive experience encompassing all tears, cartilage damage, arthritis and other injuries, as well as with shoulder, knee, and hip replacement surgery. As a trauma fellowship-trained surgeon, he also has extensive experience repairing most all fractures of the upper and lower extremities.
Dr. Klinge loves caring for athletes and currently serves as the team physician for a number of high schools nearby, including Hudson, Assabet Valley and Wayland. In prior years, Dr. Klinge has cared for a number of elite athletic teams including the National Champion University of Connecticut Huskies, Ivy League Brown Bears, and Providence Bruins Hockey Club. He is lead or co-author of dozens of published scientific articles and presentations and has written extensively about treating the aging athlete. He encourages the highest possible level of fitness for all his patients to maintain both physical and mental health and will do his best to help you remain active and pain-free.

Wendy Leontie, PA-C
Wendy is a graduate of University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavior and Pre-Medicine studies. She obtained her Master’s Degree of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Seton Hall University.
Prior to joining Orthopaedic Associates of Marlborough in January 2017, Wendy worked as a Physician Assistant in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Saint Vincent Hospital where she became the lead Orthopedic Surgery Advance Practice Provider. She also has previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, Pharmacy Technician and Biomedical Laboratory Assistant.
